For the brownies, first mix flour with cocoa for the vegan brownie mixture and sift into a mixing bowl. Add baking powder with baking soda and mix in. Add the remaining ingredients in order and mix only briefly with a hand mixer (beaters), otherwise the mass will be too solid.

Place a baking frame (18 x 32 cm) on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Pour in the mixture and smooth it down.

Place the tray in the middle of the preheated oven. Top/bottom heat: approx. 170 °C (gas: level 2) Hot air: approx. 150 °C (gas: level 2) Baking time: approx. 12 min.

Cut the cooled brownies into pieces.

Preparation Tip:

Flour can be replaced vegan with whole spelt flour and confectioners' sugar with cane sugar for the brownies. Half of the dark chocolate coating can be replaced with rice milk chocolate.
