For the spicy millet casserole, first boil the milk with the water and the vegeta. Stir in the millet, bring to the boil and leave to soak for about 20 minutes on the switched-off hob with the reheat on.

Meanwhile, heat a frying pan over medium heat, add the oil, sauté the onion and add the mince. Lightly fry, stir in the vegetables and flour and season.

Mix the swollen millet with the meat-vegetable mixture, put it into a buttered, floured baking dish and bake everything at 200 °C in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
