For the poppy seed apple pancakes, first prepare the pancakes: Stir flour, eggs, milk and salt into a batter. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes. Heat some butter in a pan and bake pancakes with the dough. Keep warm.

For the poppy seed filling, heat milk and cream in a pot, stir in poppy seeds, honey, sugar and rum and bring to a boil. Simmer for a few minutes, then let cool slightly.

Peel the apple, cut into quarters and remove the core. Cut the apple quarters into small cubes. Heat the butter and steam the apple cubes in it for 2 minutes.
