Instructions:

Fish is very valuable for babies with its low-fat, easily digestible egg white and its high iodine content. Fish is not available in jars, so you should cook it yourself from time to time. But please not before the 8th month: fish egg white can be a strong allergen and should not be given while the digestive system is not yet fully developed.

Rinse and dice fish. Rinse and clean chard. Rinse and peel potatoes and chop into small cubes. Melt about 1 tsp of fat in a saucepan and sauté the potatoes and chard in it. Add a little water, cover and cook for about 10 minutes (until the potatoes are cooked). In the last 2 to 3 minutes, add the fish. When the liquid is in the saucepan, pour it off and collect the broth. Puree potatoes, chard and fish with as much cooking liquid as needed and stir in remaining fat.

Keep or freeze for the next day. If you cool fish quickly, freeze it and defrost it quickly before eating and let it cook through once, there is no need to fear any risk. Speaking of which, if the pleasant taste of chard seems too strange to you, you can also cook this dish with fresh spinach leaves.

With kind regards, Eva
