Instructions:

For the strudel with lamb mince, finely chop the onion and sauté with the olive oil in a large frying pan until translucent (medium heat). Then add the lamb and fry until cooked through.

Dice the fennel, bell bell pepper and garlic and add to the lamb, sauté briefly and pour the tomato sauce (diced). Add bay leaf, oregano and marjoram and season with salt and pepper. Simmer over medium heat for 5-10 minutes.

Stir in the egg and breadcrumbs (amount as needed and desired consistency) and remove from heat. Allow to cool slightly.

Then cover the puff pastry with the filling and sprinkle with 2/3 of the grated Emmentaler. Roll into a strudel, brush with a little olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake the strudel with lamb mince in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

Rosemary is also wonderful for seasoning the strudel with lamb mince.
