A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Rinse the cherries, grate them dry and remove the stones. Cream the butter with the sugar. Separate the eggs into egg yolks and whites. Grate the chocolate. Whip the egg whites until stiff. Stir the egg yolks one by one into the butter mixture. Add the chocolate and the ground nuts and fold in the snow. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line the pan with butter and baking parchment. Fill the dough into the cake springform pan, spread the cherries evenly on top. Bake the cake in the oven on the lowest shelf for 1 hour. Cool the cherry cake for 10 minutes in the switched off oven.
