Instructions:

First, cream butter, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Separate the eggs and stir in the egg yolks.

Beat egg whites with granulated sugar until stiff. Sift the baking powder into the flour and add to the mixture together with the beaten egg whites. Now mix half of the dough with the cocoa powder and carefully spread on the light mixture.

Pit the apricots and cut them into wedges. Place the fruit on the dough and press down a little. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees (hot air) for 25 minutes.

For the cream, prepare a pudding from milk, granulated sugar and pudding powder (package instructions) and let cool well.

Mix butter, powdered sugar and rum until smooth, add cold pudding by the spoonful and stir until fluffy. Finally, mix in the pumpkin seed oil.

Spread the finished custard on the cooled cake and refrigerate. Then cover with chocolate frosting and use a cake garnish comb to draw the namesake summer waves. Let cool and slice before serving.
