Mix butter and flour. Quickly knead in nuts, candy corn and vanilla flavoring. Form dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for at least 30 minutes.
Divide into several pieces and form rolls. From these, cut off equal-sized pieces and shape into croissants (or place in a croissant baking dish).
Bake until they are a little brown.
Roll in rock candy while still hot.

You can make the vanilla crescents with hazelnuts or almonds.
