For baked peaches with marzipan, first blanch the peaches and peel off the skin. Cut them in half and remove the pits.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C hot air. Layer the peach halves in a baking dish.

Mix almonds, marzipan, rum and lemon zest. Place in the cavities of the peach halves.

Beat egg whites with sugar until stiff. Spread on the peach halves (either with a piping bag or a spoon).
