For the dough:


For Salami Pizza Buns, mix all dry ingredients. Dissolve the yeast in the water. Knead all ingredients for the dough vigorously for about 10 minutes until smooth. Let the dough rise for about 1/2 hour.

Then knead the dough lightly and roll out to approx. 60×60 cm. Spread with ketchup, top with salami, sprinkle with cheese and roll up. Cut into pieces about 2 cm wide and place on a baking sheet. Press together a little if necessary to make the snail shape more visible. Cover and let rise on a baking sheet for about 1/2 hour.

Heat the oven to 220 °C using a fireproof container. Add water to the hot vessel to create enough steam. Insert the pizza snails and bake for about 25-30 minutes.

Leave the salami pizza buns to cool on a rack.
