For the Christmas cupcakes, beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy. Stir in the oil and milk and mix well. A pinch of cinnamon, clove powder and cardamom gives the cupcakes a fine Christmas touch.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa powder and stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Add the almond slivers and stir the batter again.
