For the almond cookies, mix flour with baking powder and put in a bowl, add ginger and sugar, mix. Stir yolks and grated almonds into the dough.
Mix with oil and brandy and knead into a firm dough. Form small balls from it and press a whole or half almond on each one.
Line a baking tray with baking paper, place the balls on it and bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
Preparation Tip:
If you like, you can cover the almond cookies with chocolate icing or decorate them.
