Instructions:

Place puff pastry sheets overlapping each other and roll out.

Brush with a little butter.

Peel and chop the garlic and onion.

Finely dice the bacon. Fry with onion and garlic and set aside.

Divide broccoli into florets, chop carrots and celery. Remove the stalk and seeds from the peppers and chop them as well.

Blanch the vegetables in salted water for about 2 minutes, rinse and drain.

Mix cheese, eggs, sour cream, pepper, salt, herbs and nutmeg and mix with the vegetables.

Preheat the stove to 180 °C.

Put bacon mixture and vegetables on the dough and roll up into a strudel.

Place on a greased baking tray and bake for about 35 minutes. Brush a few times with the remaining butter.

Then remove and serve.

Preparation Tip:

If desired, offer crème fraîche with herbs with it. The bacon is optional. You can also omit it, but it gives the strudel a fine spicy note.
