Instructions:

For the shaking cucumbers, remove the skin from the cucumbers and cut into slices about 1 cm thick. Put the cucumber slices in a tightly closed container.

Add the sugar, vinegar and salt. Cut the onions into rings. Put them in the container as well. Add mustard seeds, dill and tarragon and stir well.

Leave the cucumbers in a cool place for about 3 days, shaking them well from time to time. After 3 days the cucumbers are ready to eat.

The shaking cucumbers are nicely packaged also a nice hostess gift.
