Instructions:

Mix approx. 100 ml water with honey and heat slightly.

Dissolve yeast in it, knead with the remaining ingredients to a dough and let it rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour.

Then fold the dough again and knead it once more.

Divide in half and shape into loaves. Place the loaves on a greased baking sheet (or silicone mat) and let rise again for about 30 minutes.

Bake in the preheated oven at about 170 °C for 50-60 minutes (depending on size).

Meanwhile, it is best to put a cup of water in the oven.

The bread is ready when it sounds hollow when tapped.

Remove from the oven and wrap in a damp cloth until the bread has cooled.
