For the walnut bread, dissolve the yeast in a little lukewarm water and knead with the remaining ingredients for about 15 minutes to form a dough. Cover and let rest in a warm place for about 1 hour.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 250 °C. Place a bowl of water in the oven and bake the bread at 250 °C for about 10 minutes.
Then continue baking at 200 °C for about 25 minutes. Finally, turn off the oven and leave the bread in the oven for about 10 more minutes.
Place the walnut bread on a glazing rack and cover to cool.
