For the sauerkraut toast, squeeze the sauerkraut well and chop a little.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C.

Chop the Roquefort, mash with a fork and mix with cream until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Peel pears, cut into quarters, remove core and cut into slices.

Spread the slices of brown bread with butter and cover with the ham and the pear pieces.

Spread the sauerkraut on top and spread the Roquefort paste on top.

Bake the sauerkraut toast in the oven for about 7 minutes until the cheese is lightly browned.

Preparation Tip:

You can also use other cheese for your sauerkraut toast. Try sliced mozzarella and omit the cream!
