For the baked apple stuffed with dates and chestnuts, first wash the apples, cut off about 1 cm of the upper part of the apple and carefully hollow it out with a small spoon or a Parisienne cutter. Leave the bottom undamaged if possible.
Beat the eggs in a bowl with the icing sugar, vanilla sugar and orange zest until very foamy. Cut the chestnuts and dates into small pieces and mix with the breadcrumbs, almonds, orange juice and a pinch of salt and cinnamon.
Fill the mixture into the hollowed apples and bake in the Philips Airfryer at 165 °C for about 25 minutes. Allow the baked apple filled with dates and chestnuts to cool slightly before serving.
