(*) 26 cm ø cake springform pan.

Grease the cake pan. Dough: Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough.

Divide the dough in half. Roll out one half and place in the greased pan. Prick several times with a fork. Roll out the rest of the dough into a strip. Roll up the strips. Unroll in the tart springform pan. Press against the edge.

Pre-bake in heated oven at 200 degrees (convection oven: 175 degrees /gas oven: level 3) for about twenty minutes. Cool down a bit.

Blanch apricots, skin and halve. Remove pit. Place apricots on the dough. Whip egg whites until stiff. Gradually fold in sugar. Spread snow on apricots. Sprinkle with nuts.

Bake in a heated oven at 175 degrees (convection oven: 150 degrees /gas oven: level 2) for about forty to forty-five minutes.
