Put ham in buttermilk for 2 hours, let drain and fry in hot butter on both sides, pour into baking dish. Mix whipping cream in the frying fat, mix flour with wine, thicken the sauce with it, boil vigorously. Season with salt, sugar, pepper and juice of a lemon and pour over ham slices.
