Cut bacon into 2 cm wide strips and fry in 4 tbsp. hot oil in a roasting pan until crispy. Remove with a skimmer and set aside. Brown the rabbit legs in the fat on all sides and season with salt and pepper. Take out the legs and remove the roasting pan from the stove.

Peel the carrots and cut them into 2-3 cm long pieces. Peel garlic and cut into fine slices, cut pepper into fine slices. Cut dried plums in half. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a roasting pan. Sauté the carrots with the lentils, garlic and peppers for 2 minutes. 3.
