Strawberry Rose

In a large strawberry at the bottom make a narrow cut in each quarter, so that the resulting 4 leaves are still attached to the strawberry.

Now turn the strawberry a little bit and make again 4 small cuts in the spaces of the lower leaves.

Depending on the size of the strawberry, this process can be repeated again until the strawberry is fanned out into individual “petals” and a strawberry rose is created.

Preparation Tip:

The strawberry rose looks especially chic if you insert a simple wooden skewer into the stalk. This way you get a real rose and you can tie several strawberry roses together to make a bouquet.
