Butter in flakes over the finely sifted flour form. Add raisins, raisins and cherries with almond kernels, sugar, candied orange peel, candied lemon peel and spices. Stir everything together to form a dough. Melt baking soda in 2 tbsp lukewarm beer. Beat eggs with remaining beer, add to flour mixture form with baking soda, stir everything together. Spread a baking tray with parchment paper, place small piles of dough on it. Bake in a heated oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes. Decorate the still warm cookies with the chopped colored cherries.

Tip: Cook only with high-quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all in a good dish!
